Key Responsibilities
Provide L2/L3 application and production support for .NET Core and Angular-based applications
Investigate and resolve production issues related to application logic, data integrity, performance, and integrations
Support microservices-based architectures, including Kafka message flows and asynchronous processing
Analyze application logs, metrics, and traces using Azure Analytics & Insights to identify root causes and prevent recurrence
Collaborate with architects, developers, and DevOps teams on issue resolution and system improvements
Communicate clearly with business and technical stakeholders during incidents, RCA, and service restoration
Prepare and document Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports and preventive action plans
Prioritize incidents and service requests in line with SLA and enterprise support processes
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
Certifications:
Cloud, DevOps, or ITIL certifications (preferred)
Technical & Soft Skills:
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to work in high-availability, mission-critical environments
Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in application and production support (L2/L3)
Prior experience supporting banking or financial services applications is a strong advantage
Technical Expertise:
Backend: .NET Core 6, Entity Framework
Frontend (awareness): Angular 8+
Database: Azure MS SQL MI (strong query writing & data analysis)
Testing & Tools: NUnit, Postman, Curl
Architecture: Microservices (Choreography pattern, CQRS)
Messaging: Kafka, RedHat AMQ
Monitoring & Logging: Azure Analytics & Application Insights
Cache: Redis
NoSQL: Cosmos DB
Identity & Access: Keycloak (IDAM)

Average Market Salary (Estimated): AED 15,000 – 22,000 per month
(Based on Senior Application Support Engineer roles in Abu Dhabi with 5+ years of experience in enterprise & banking environments)
