Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, commission, and troubleshoot DWDM optical networks
Operate and support Nokia 1830 PSS platforms in production environments
Implement and manage ROADM, coherent optics, and optical layer designs
Provision and support OTN and Ethernet services
Perform fault isolation, performance optimization, and capacity planning
Support metro, long-haul, and DCI network deployments
Maintain documentation and adhere to operational best practices

Requirements & Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related engineering field

Technical Skills (Mandatory):
Strong hands-on experience with DWDM optical networks
Proven expertise on Nokia 1830 PSS
Experience in installation, configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting
Knowledge of ROADM, coherent optics, OTN, and Ethernet services

Nice to Have:
Exposure to metro / long-haul / DCI network environments

Professional Skills:
Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
Ability to work in mission-critical network environments

Salary, Benefits & Career Growth
Average Market Salary (Estimated – Saudi Arabia):
SAR 14,000 – 22,000 per month
(Based on DWDM / Optical Network Engineer roles in KSA with Nokia 1830 PSS experience)
