Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise QA/QC Inspectors, NDT technicians, and contract engineers
Conduct failure investigations, metallurgical analysis, and root cause assessments
Review and approve WPS, PQR, repair procedures, and inspection documentation
Support procurement teams with inspection requirements and vendor quality oversight
Participate in risk assessments, Management of Change (MOC), readiness reviews, and RCFA
Perform supplier and contractor quality audits
Manage certification programs for lifting equipment, pressure vessels, cylinders, and tanks
Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements
Requirements & Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mandatory)
Certifications (Mandatory / Preferred):
CSWIP
AWS
API
ASNT
Welding, NDT, Inspection, or Auditing certifications
Experience:
6+ years of QA/QC experience in the Oil & Gas industry
Technical Skills:
Strong expertise in fabrication, materials, welding, and inspection
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and quality investigations
Knowledge of international codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.)
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills
Ability to work in high-pressure, safety-critical environments
