Consultant / Specialist – Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB-GYN)
Role Purpose:
To deliver high-quality Obstetrics & Gynecology services in accordance with Department of Health (DOH) regulations, clinical standards, and international best practices, ensuring safe, patient-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care across inpatient and outpatient services
- Manage normal and high-risk pregnancies, labor, delivery, and postnatal care
- Perform approved diagnostic and surgical procedures within clinical privileges
- Participate in on-call and emergency coverage as per departmental requirements
- Ensure compliance with DOH regulations, SEHA policies, and patient safety standards
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to quality and governance activities
Qualifications & Experience:
- MBBS or equivalent with specialization in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- DOH License / Eligibility (mandatory)
- Qualification and experience aligned with DOH PQR (Tier 1 preferred)
- Post-qualification experience as per DOH requirements for Consultant / Specialist level

- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Language: English: Fluent Arabic: Advantage
