Key Responsibilities
Administer, monitor, and maintain MongoDB, MS SQL Server, and PostgreSQL databases
Manage sharding, replication, clustering, and high-availability architectures
Perform indexing strategies, query optimization, and performance tuning for large datasets
Design, maintain, and optimize stored procedures, triggers, and complex queries
Configure and manage SQL Server Always On Availability Groups, replication, and failover solutions
Implement backup strategies, disaster recovery, and database security compliance
Design and maintain relational schemas, data integrity, and transactional consistency
Troubleshoot database issues and provide application and production support
Maintain documentation and follow operational best practices
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Certifications (Preferred)
Microsoft SQL Server / Azure Database certifications
MongoDB or PostgreSQL certifications (advantage)
Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL
Expertise in database performance tuning and optimization
Experience with high availability, replication, and failover mechanisms
Strong understanding of backup, recovery, and security best practices
Experience Requirements
Relevant experience in enterprise database administration
Immediate joiner or maximum 2 weeks’ notice period

AED 18,000 – 28,000 per month
(Based on DBA roles in Dubai with multi-database enterprise experience)
