Hygiene Officer
Experience: Minimum 2 years UAE hotel industry experience
Job Description:
The Hygiene Officer is responsible for implementing and monitoring hygiene and sanitation standards across all food & beverage outlets, kitchens, and hotel areas to ensure compliance with local regulations and hotel policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular hygiene and sanitation inspections in kitchens, restaurants, and storage areas.
Ensure compliance with HACCP, Dubai Municipality, and hotel hygiene standards.
Monitor food handling, storage, and temperature control procedures.
Train staff on hygiene practices, food safety, and sanitation standards.
Prepare hygiene audit reports and corrective action plans.
Ensure cleanliness of food preparation areas, equipment, and utensils.
Coordinate with kitchen and F&B teams to maintain hygiene compliance.
Follow up on pest control and waste management procedures.
Maintain documentation and records related to hygiene inspections and training.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years UAE hotel experience as Hygiene Officer or similar role.
Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
Good communication and training skills.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office).
Certification in Food Safety or Hygiene is an advantage.
