Key Responsibilities
Technical Drafting: Creating detailed shop drawings, layout plans, sectional drawings, and schematics for HVAC/ACMV systems using AutoCAD or Revit.
Drafting Components: Detailing HVAC components such as air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), dampers, diffusers, grilles, and piping systems.
MEP Coordination: Coordinating HVAC drawings with other mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) services to resolve clashes and prevent field conflicts.
Project Documentation: Maintaining, revising, and updating drawings based on engineering changes, site surveys, or Request for Information (RFI) responses.
System Design Support: Assisting in heat load calculations, duct sizing, and Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation.
Compliance: Ensuring all drawings adhere to project specifications, local building codes, and industry standards (e.g., ASHRAE).
Site Support: Conducting site visits to verify existing conditions.
