Description:
Battmobile, a top onsite automotive service provider in the UAE, is growing its finance team and looking for a Senior Finance Executive to come on board. With extensive operations, 24/7 services, and a loyal customer base, this role is a great chance to take charge of financial operations in a dynamic, fast-moving business.
In this role, you will function in a capacity similar to an Assistant Accounting Manager, playing a key part in overseeing accounting activities, managing reporting cycles, and supporting compliance requirements. The position is ideal for a hands-on finance professional who is comfortable leading teams and working closely with management.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing end-to-end accounting activities and detailed ledger reviews
Managing month-end and year-end closing processes
Preparing and analyzing financial reports including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis
Leading, mentoring, and supervising a team of accountants
Supporting UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance and reporting
Coordinating audits and ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards
Candidate profile:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with ACCA considered a strong advantage
4–6 years of relevant accounting experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a senior or supervisory role
Strong hands-on experience with Zoho Books (mandatory requirement)
Solid working knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax regulations, and IFRS
Advanced Excel skills with a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
Prior experience in the automotive or retail sector is a strong advantage
