Major Responsibilities:
Develop and issue comprehensive logistics plans and procedures that are aligned with project phases, traffic management requirements, and construction delivery and workforce strategies.
Interface with the project executive team in relation to project requirements and direction. Lead discussions in relation to the site wide logistic strategy and its progress.
Interface with external airport stakeholders to identify requirements and ensure all work being undertaken is done in collaboration with airport operations.
Interface with internal project stakeholders to ensure that site wide logistics requirements are understood, and that all contractors will provide and comply with site wide logistics directions.
Interface with external authorities and organization in the establishment of site wide operations.
Site worker and vehicle entry / exit gates and connection with external road network
Internal haul road, parking, staging area establishment, maintenance and operation
Review available information to ascertain current external traffic conditions and instigate a construction traffic impact study to ascertain project impact.
Produce a strategy to identify changes required to the external road network and establish gate and internal road operational requirements to accommodate expected numbers
Construct, operate and maintain the road network to ensure that it meets projects requirements
Communicate with all stakeholders in relation to any changes to the operation of the road / gate network. Including direction in relation to closure of roads / gates.
Create and implement a procedure for land allocation requests.
Build and maintain communication channels with stakeholders engaged in development, planning, and permitting to ensure land availability and adherence to permit requirements.
Oversee the return of all land within the designated timeframe and in the conditions agreed upon.

Smart worker technology and AI incident detection
Oversee the use of a Geographic Information System to capture all required site wide logistics data and display the current status of logistics infrastructure and land.
Oversee the commercial process for the identification of site wide logistics requirements, tender, negotiation, award and execution of logistics contracts.
Maintain, update and present to project management details relating to the logistics budget / funding requirements.
Interacts with project management to review logistics strategies in consideration of cost, risk, and schedule assessments
Negotiates Logistics Service Provider agreements to maximize project commercial and technical interests
Provides cost, transportability, Service, and terms and conditions analysis as requested to assist with project proposals, goods purchases, and the selection of Traffic & Logistics Service Providers
Leads the preparation of logistics studies including site and Logistics Service Provider facility visits
Ensures audit and processing of Logistics Service Provider invoices in accordance with project procedure
Prepares logistics reports or performance metrics as required to satisfy project information requirements
Identify all required team members, establish roles and responsibilities, and initiate the hiring process.
Establish, lead, coach, and grow a high-performing logistics team.
Lead team development opportunities and encourage a collaborative work environment
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline; MBA or Master’s preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain roles within the construction or infrastructure sectors.
At least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing large teams and multimillion-dollar logistics budgets.
Demonstrated experience managing logistics for complex, multi-year projects such as airport terminals, industrial plants, or smart city developments.
Strong analytical, budgeting, and negotiation skills.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Familiarity with major construction and logistics tools such as SAP, Oracle SCM, Procore, Aconex, or Bentley.
Familiarity with BIM, GIS, digital twin, or smart construction logistics technologies.
Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus, especially Arabic.
