Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit customs Bayans and related documentation accurately and on time
Verify Bills of Lading, delivery orders, and shipping documents
Coordinate with customs, port, airport, and immigration authorities
Respond to documentary queries from customers and government officials
Ensure compliance with customs laws, regulations, and HS code classifications
Handle daily cash and card transaction reconciliation
Maintain accurate records of shipments and clearance documentation
Support inspection and clearance processes to avoid shipment delays
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Experience
0–1 year of experience in customs clearance, shipping, or logistics
Suitable for entry-level candidates with relevant exposure and willingness to learn
Technical Knowledge
Knowledge of customs clearance procedures and documentation (Bayan, Bill of Entry, Delivery Orders)
Understanding of port, airport, and shipping operations
Familiarity with customs laws, regulations, and HS codes
Ability to verify and validate shipping and customs documents accurately
Experience in handling daily cash and card transaction reconciliation
Skills
Strong coordination skills with customs and regulatory authorities
Good English communication skills (written and spoken)
Basic Arabic speaking skills
Basic computer knowledge
Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation
Valid Oman driving license
Salary, Benefits & Career Growth
Average Market Salary (Estimated):
OMR 350 – 500 per month (based on entry-level Customs Clearance and Logistics roles in Oman)
