Business Development Manager - Projects

Job Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Key Responsibilities

• Drive business development for civil construction scopes in petrochemical and Oil & Gas construction projects (SAR 5M–30M), including:

1. Bulk earthworks & site development
2. Foundations (equipment, pipe racks, buildings)
3. Structural & reinforced concrete works
4. Industrial buildings, roads, drainage & utilities

• Identify upcoming projects with operators, licensors, PMC consultants, and EPC contractors
• Build and manage relationships with key decision-makers across client and contractor organizations
• Own the full BD lifecycle: market intelligence → prequalification → tendering → negotiation → contract award
• Coordinate with estimation, engineering, QS, and construction teams to develop competitive bids
• Lead commercial negotiations and support contract finalization
• Develop partnerships with specialist civil subcontractors and suppliers
• Maintain BD pipeline, forecasts, and CRM reporting
• Support handover from BD to project execution teams

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Business (MBA a plus)
• 7+ years of BD experience in petrochemical / Oil & Gas construction projects
• Proven success securing civil packages SAR 5M–30M
• Strong network with operators, PMCs, and EPC contractors in Saudi Arabia
• Solid understanding of civil works for industrial facilities (plants, terminals, tank farms, pipelines)
• Strong knowledge of Saudi prequalification and tendering processes
• Commercially sharp with strong negotiation skills
• Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage)
• Willingness to travel within KSA
