Fabrication Supervisor
Job Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fabrication Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to manage fabrication operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and lead a team of welders, fabricators, fitters, CNC operators, and other skilled personnel.
• Assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of fabrication jobs.
• Coordinate with engineering, design, procurement, and QA/QC departments.
• Monitor usage of materials, consumables, and tools, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Review blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders before assigning tasks.
• Suggest improvements to fabrication methods to optimize time and reduce material wastage.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards on the shop floor or site.
• Train and mentor junior staff as needed.
Required Experience:
• Minimum 5+ years in fabrication, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/foreman role.
• Previous experience in Al Sharq Steel Factory, REDCO International Qatar, METAFCO Saudi Arabia, or similar organizations is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience in welding, fitting, CNC operations, and other fabrication processes.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong blueprint reading and technical interpretation skills.
• Excellent fabrication techniques and machine operation knowledge.
• Proficiency in tool and equipment maintenance, quality control, and defect identification.
• Ability to enforce safety standards and emergency response procedures.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
