Job Title : Planning Engineer
Job Location – Dubai
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling in the Construction Industry. Experience in high-rise buildings is a must.
Software Proficiency: Primavera P6 or MS Project.
A Planning and Control Engineer is responsible for creating, monitoring, and managing project schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
Key responsibilities:
• Project Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, baselines, and execution plans.
• Progress Monitoring: Track project progress against the schedule, perform variance analysis, and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and opportunities, perform schedule risk analysis, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Resource Allocation: Align resources with project schedules and maintain integrated resource planning systems.
• Cost Control: Assist with cost control activities, identify cost trends, and support the processing of contractor claims and change orders.
• Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, and clients to resolve issues, provide updates, and ensure alignment on project goals.
• Reporting: Create and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly progress reports, including graphs and critical path analyses.
• Contractor Management: Review and validate contractor planning packages, monitor performance, and ensure contractual compliance.
