Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Environmental Science / Occupational Health & Safety or related field. NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA certifications preferred.
Job Purpose
The HSE Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management system across all oil and gas operations. The role ensures compliance with company policies, international standards, and local regulations while promoting a strong safety culture within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
HSE Leadership & Strategy:
Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and management systems in line with international standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
Lead the organization in establishing a strong safety culture and zero harm philosophy.
Provide strategic direction on HSE matters to senior management.

Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure full compliance with local regulatory requirements and international oil & gas safety standards.
Liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors, and clients on HSE matters.

Risk Management:
Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, and implement control measures.
Lead HAZID, HAZOP, JSA, and risk mitigation programs.
Monitor and evaluate workplace hazards and environmental impacts.

Incident Management:
Lead investigations for incidents, accidents, and near misses.
Identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Prepare detailed incident reports for management and clients.

Training & Competency Development:
Develop and implement HSE training programs for employees and contractors.
Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and emergency drills.

Environmental Management:
Ensure environmental protection practices in line with company and regulatory standards.
Monitor waste management, pollution prevention, and environmental impact.

Audits & Inspections:
Conduct regular HSE inspections and internal audits across project sites.
Ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.

Emergency Response:
Develop emergency response plans and coordinate emergency preparedness programs.
Lead response during emergencies or crisis situations
