Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Oracle and SQL database environments to ensure performance, reliability, and security
Monitor database performance and perform performance tuning to optimize system efficiency
Implement and manage database backup and recovery strategies to ensure data protection and business continuity
Troubleshoot database issues and resolve performance or connectivity problems
Maintain database environments including installation, configuration, and system updates
Support database optimization initiatives to improve system performance and resource utilization
Monitor database health and ensure database availability for business-critical applications
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support application deployments and database integrations
Maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and operational processes
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field
Experience
Proven experience working as a Database Administrator in enterprise environments
Experience supporting Oracle and SQL database platforms
Technical Skills
Extensive experience with Oracle Database administration
Strong knowledge of SQL and database performance tuning
Experience with database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain database systems
Understanding of database optimization and performance monitoring
Additional Skills (Preferred)
Experience working with DB2 database systems
Familiarity with PostgreSQL database environments
Experience supporting enterprise production databases and high-availability environments

USD 5,000 – USD 7,500 per month (based on Database Administrators with 5–8 years of experience supporting enterprise Oracle environments in remote roles for UAE clients)
