Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise scaffolding teams engaged in civil construction activities.
Coordinate scaffolding installation, modification, and dismantling across project sites.
Ensure scaffolding structures comply with project specifications and safety standards.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, method statements, and construction procedures.
Optimize the use of manpower, equipment, and materials to ensure efficient project execution.
Coordinate with other discipline foremen to ensure proper scheduling and utilization of resources.
Ensure scaffolding crews are supplied with necessary tools, equipment, and materials.
Monitor worksite discipline and prevent unsafe work practices and absenteeism.
Supervise crews during scaffold erection, adjustment, and removal activities.
Prevent wastage and misuse of construction equipment and materials.
Ensure compliance with QHSE and Integrated Management System (IMS) policies.
Maintain safety standards and support continuous improvement of safety and quality processes.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Construction Manager, Senior Project Engineer, or Project Engineer.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education
Diploma or technical certification in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Experience
Professional experience supervising scaffolding works on construction or civil projects.
Experience managing scaffolding teams and coordinating installation activities.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems, installation procedures, and dismantling processes.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, construction documentation, and method statements.
Understanding of scaffolding safety standards and construction site safety procedures.
Professional Skills
Strong leadership and workforce management abilities.
Experience coordinating with project engineers, supervisors, and other construction trades.
Ability to manage multiple tasks within fast-paced construction environments.
