Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the stability, integrity, and performance of enterprise IT infrastructure across hybrid cloud environments
• Manage infrastructure platforms across public cloud and private cloud environments
• Define standards for monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing cloud-hosted systems
• Perform Linux server administration, operating system patching, and Level 3 troubleshooting
• Plan and implement operating system upgrades and security hardening aligned with industry standards
• Manage virtualization platforms including VMware and Oracle VM environments
• Provide hands-on support for cloud platforms including AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes environments including container orchestration frameworks such as Rancher
• Manage enterprise storage solutions including Pure Storage platforms
• Support backup infrastructure using solutions such as Commvault and AWS Backup
• Administer Cisco UCS infrastructure including blade and rack server environments
• Maintain documentation, system monitoring frameworks, and operational procedures for 24×7 enterprise infrastructure operations
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, or a related discipline
Experience
Extensive professional experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering, cloud platform management, or hybrid cloud environments
Technical Skills
• Cisco UCS infrastructure including C & B Series servers and Fabric Interconnect environments
• AWS Cloud services including EC2, Lambda, Route53, EBS, and S3
• Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and VMware integration
• Kubernetes container orchestration platforms (Rancher preferred)
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration
• Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM)
• Enterprise storage platforms such as Pure Storage
• Backup technologies including Commvault and AWS Backup
Additional Skills:
• Linux system administration and server performance optimization
• Virtualization technologies including VMware vSphere
• Enterprise infrastructure monitoring and operational optimization
• Familiarity with Dynatrace monitoring and DNS systems is considered an advantage
Certifications (Preferred):
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or RHEL certifications
• AWS Cloud certifications
• Microsoft Azure cloud certifications
• VMware infrastructure certifications
• Storage and infrastructure certifications
Salary, Benefits & Career Growth
Average Market Salary (Estimated):
AED 28,000 – AED 40,000 per month (based on experience and enterprise cloud infrastructure roles in Dubai)
