Key Responsibilities:
Manage and control all project documentation, including drawings, technical submittals, RFIs, and project reports.
Maintain accurate document registers, logs, numbering systems, and document tracking records.
Establish and maintain efficient Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) for project documentation.
Ensure proper filing, classification, and secure storage of both electronic and physical project documents.
Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and engineering teams for document submissions and approvals.
Monitor document revisions and ensure proper version control procedures are followed.
Generate periodic documentation reports including log reports, document status reports, and user activity reports.
Support project initiation documentation and ensure proper project close-out document management.
Ensure compliance with company and project-specific document control procedures and quality standards.
Assist in improving document management workflows and operational efficiency.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
5–7+ years of experience as a Document Controller in construction or infrastructure projects.
Experience working with contractors, consultants, or Project Management Consultants (PMC).
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of document control procedures, records management systems, and document numbering standards.
Hands-on experience with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) such as Aconex, SharePoint, or ProjectWise.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Google Drive.
Ability to manage documentation across multiple projects simultaneously (2–3 projects).
Understanding of construction project documentation processes and engineering document workflows.
Soft Skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Effective communication and coordination with multidisciplinary project teams.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with documentation standards.
Certifications (Preferred)
Certified Document Controller (CDC)
Project management or document management certifications
Quality management training related to document control procedures

SAR 8,000 – SAR 12,000 per month (Based on Saudi Arabia construction document control roles with 5–7 years experience)
