Key Responsibilities:
Perform on-site testing and commissioning of electrical automation systems within substation environments.
Configure and implement DS Agile systems (V5, V6, V7) for substation automation applications.
Install and manage DS Agile Server, Client, and Gateway applications.
Test and verify communication protocols including IEC 61850, Modbus, IEC 101, and IEC 104.
Work within EHV, HV, and MV substation environments to ensure reliable system performance.
Troubleshoot hardware, communication, and network issues within automation systems.
Prepare weekly and monthly technical progress reports for project stakeholders.
Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure compliance with substation automation standards and project specifications.
Support commissioning and integration of substation control and monitoring systems.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in Substation Automation System (SAS) testing and commissioning.
Experience working within EHV, HV, or MV substation environments.
Technical Skills
Hands-on experience with DS Agile systems (V5 / V6 / V7).
Familiarity with D400 and G500 applications.
Strong knowledge of substation communication protocols such as IEC 61850, Modbus, IEC 101, and IEC 104.
Experience in substation automation system configuration and testing.
Soft Skills
Strong communication and technical reporting skills.
Ability to work in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Analytical troubleshooting capability for automation and network issues.
Language Requirement
Professional English communication skills are required.
