Task Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership & Workforce Management
Lead and supervise a team of 70+ employees across warehouse, logistics, inventory, and quality control.
Manage roles, performance evaluations, training, and disciplinary actions.
Plan manpower allocation, shifts, and vacations to support operational needs.
2. Warehouse Operations
Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch.
Improve warehouse layout, workflow efficiency, and operational processes.
Ensure safety, hygiene, and operational compliance.
3. Inventory Management
Manage the entire inventory lifecycle from receiving to dispatch.
Monitor stock levels, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
Lead annual stock counts and cycle counting programs.
Ensure proper FIFO / FEFO inventory rotation, especially for perishable products.
4. Supply Chain Strategy
Develop supply chain strategies to improve procurement, warehousing, and distribution.
Analyze operational KPIs to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Coordinate with procurement, sales, and finance teams.
5. Logistics & Distribution
Manage the movement of goods from suppliers to warehouses and customers.
Optimize delivery routes, fleet usage, and transportation planning.
Monitor delivery performance and order accuracy.
6. Asset & Equipment Management
Manage operational assets including vehicles, forklifts, pallet jacks, and cold storage equipment.
Implement preventive maintenance programs.
Track asset utilization and plan replacements.
7. Vendor & Contract Management
Manage contracts with 3PL warehouses, GPS providers, pest control, maintenance vendors, and cold chain monitoring services.
Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate service agreements.
8. Cost Control & Operational Efficiency
Control logistics, labor, storage, and transportation costs.
Implement process improvements to increase productivity.
Monitor KPIs such as inventory turnover, delivery costs, and warehouse productivity.
9. Compliance & Quality Management
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and operational standards.
Maintain certifications such as ISO, ASC, and MSC.
Implement strict quality and traceability systems.
10. Audits & Certification
Manage internal, supplier, and customer audits.
Prepare documentation for inspections and certification renewals.
Implement corrective actions for audit findings.
11. Cross-Department Coordination
Work closely with procurement, finance, sales, and customer service teams.
Align inventory planning with sales forecasts and company objectives.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities “KSA”:
Minimum Bachelor's degree required.
8+ years’ experience as inventory/Supply Chain manager.
Must have Transferable visa (18-Ahli)
Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes.
Outstanding knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
Working knowledge of inventory management software and MS Office.
Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports.
An analytical mind with strong math skills and attention to details.
Excellent organizational, planning and project management skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
