Job Title: Cardiology Specialist
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE (Multiple Sites / Private Hospital)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Specialist to join a cardiovascular team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide expert diagnostic and therapeutic services to a diverse patient population, ensuring clinical excellence in line with DOH standards and international best practices (AHA/ESC).

Key Responsibilities:
• DOH Compliance: Maintain all clinical documentation and patient records in strict accordance with DOH Malpractice and Audit standards.
• Outpatient & Inpatient Care: Manage a dedicated cardiology clinic and provide specialist consultation for admitted patients.
• Non-Invasive Diagnostics: High proficiency in interpreting Echocardiography (TTE), Stress ECGs, Holter Monitoring, and Ambulatory BP monitoring.
• Preventive Health: Lead cardiovascular screening programs tailored to the Abu Dhabi community, focusing on hypertension, dyslipidemia, and metabolic syndrome management.
• Emergency Response: Provide on-call specialist support for acute cardiac cases as per the hospital’s duty roster.

Mandatory Requirements (DOH Abu Dhabi):
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
• Education: MD, MBBS, or equivalent from an internationally recognized medical school.
• Qualification Tier: Must hold a recognized specialty qualification (e.g., UK CCT/CCST, American Board, German
Facharzt, or equivalent Tier 1/Tier 2 qualification).
• Licensing: * Currently holding an Active DOH (HAAD) License as a Cardiology Specialist OR Holding a DHA/MOH
License and being eligible for a Dataflow-verified transfer to DOH.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of post-specialization experience in a clinical setting.
• Language: Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic proficiency is a significant advantage in the Abu Dhabi private
sector.

Technical Skills Matrix:
Skill Requirement
Echo/Imaging Expert-level interpretation of 2D/3D Echo.
DOH Malpractice Law Familiarity with UAE healthcare liability and ethics.
Cultural Competency Experience treating multi-national patient populations.
EMR Systems Proficiency in Malaffi (the Abu Dhabi Health Information Exchange).
