Key Responsibilities:
Review tender documents, engineering drawings, and specifications to understand project scope.
Prepare tender synopsis and conduct risk and opportunity analysis.
Perform detailed material take-offs and estimate manpower and equipment requirements.
Coordinate with Procurement, Quality Assurance, HSE, and engineering teams for proposal inputs.
Liaise with subcontractors and vendors to obtain technical quotations and pricing.
Develop cost estimations and technical documentation required for proposal submissions.
Compile and submit complete technical and commercial bids in accordance with tender requirements.
Support proposal activities related to EPC projects, Oil & Gas facilities, and shutdown operations.
Ensure proposal documentation aligns with project standards, client specifications, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
8 – 10 years of professional experience in proposal engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
Strong understanding of EPC project bidding processes and tender documentation.
Experience in shutdown projects and Oil & Gas facility proposals is preferred.
Knowledge of cost estimation techniques, technical bid preparation, and risk analysis.
Ability to review engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Strong coordination and communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Proficiency in proposal preparation tools, engineering documentation, and technical reporting.
Salary, Benefits & Career Growth
Average Market Salary (Estimated):
AED 14,000 – AED 20,000 per month (based on UAE Oil & Gas industry standards for professionals with 8–10 years of experience).
