Job Title: QC Mechanical Engineer – Tanks
Qualifications & Experience:
Engineering Graduates / PG in Mechanical / Industrial / Petrochemical Engineering
5–10 years of experience in mechanical quality control, inspection, and testing of storage tanks, pressure vessels, or piping systems
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of mechanical standards, codes, and specifications for tanks (API, ASME, ASTM, etc.)
Experience in inspection, testing, and quality assurance of welded joints, tank fabrication, and installation
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and isometric diagrams
Proficiency with inspection tools, NDT techniques (UT, RT, MPI, etc.)
Good communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills
