Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage multidisciplinary design teams across project phases
Oversee the full design lifecycle including concept, schematic, and detailed design
Ensure design quality, compliance with codes, standards, and project requirements
Plan, monitor, and deliver design outputs within project timelines and budgets
Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and stakeholders
Review and approve design deliverables and technical documentation
Resolve complex technical and design-related issues
Support tender documentation and evaluation processes
Provide design support during construction phases
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field
Minimum 15+ years of professional experience in architectural design and project management
Strong background in design leadership and multidisciplinary coordination
UPDA Grade A certification (mandatory)
RIBA certification (preferred)
Proven experience working on GCC projects is highly desirable
Hands-on expertise in concept and detailed design stages
Strong understanding of international design standards and local regulations
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a design office environment
Salary, Benefits & Career Growth
Average Market Salary (Estimated):
QAR 25,000 – 40,000 per month (based on senior design leadership roles in Qatar and GCC region)
