Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily workshop operations including vehicle inspection, repair, and maintenance.
Assign jobs to mechanics and technicians based on their skills and workload.
Ensure all repairs and servicing are completed on time and with quality standards.
Diagnose complex mechanical problems and provide technical support to the team.
Maintain records of vehicle service history, repairs, and spare parts usage.
Monitor inventory of spare parts, tools, and workshop equipment.
Ensure proper preventive maintenance schedules for company vehicles.
Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations in the workshop.
Coordinate with management for vehicle availability and operational requirements.
Train and guide mechanics and technicians to improve productivity and performance.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Automobile Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in automobile maintenance or vehicle workshop operations.
At least 2–3 years of supervisory experience in an automobile workshop.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of vehicle repair, diagnostics, and maintenance procedures.
Experience with cars, pickup trucks, and light commercial vehicles.
Good leadership and team management skills.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
Knowledge of workshop safety standards and best practices.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in fleet vehicle maintenance.
Knowledge of modern vehicle diagnostic tools and equipment.
Basic computer skills for maintenance records and reporting.
