Laying Foreman

Job Location : Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the asphalt crew on various construction sites.
• Coordinate with the project manager to ensure that all work is completed according to project specifications and timelines.
• Plan and schedule daily tasks for the asphalt crew, including equipment and materials needed.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards.
• Train and mentor new crew members on proper asphalt laying techniques.
• Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the laying process and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain accurate records of materials used, equipment maintenance, and crew hours.
• Communicate with clients and address any concerns or questions they may have.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in asphalt paving, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Extensive knowledge of asphalt materials, equipment, and techniques.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
