Job Title: Senior Network Specialist – Network Security & Administration
Key Responsibilities
Configure, manage, and support WAN, LAN, and WLAN networks
Implement network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and DLP
Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, availability, and security events
Maintain routing and switching environments (Nexus 7000 / 6000)
Develop and enforce security policies and access controls
Perform vulnerability assessments, DDoS mitigation, and IPS management
Collaborate with IT teams to optimize network infrastructure and reliability
Ensure compliance with enterprise security and operational standards
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in network support, administration, and security
Strong expertise in WAN, LAN, WLAN, VPNs, routing, and switching
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and ISE
Knowledge of network monitoring tools and troubleshooting best practices
Fluent in Arabic and English
Preferred Certifications: CCIE Security, Fortinet FCNSP, Palo Alto PCNSE
Average Market Salary (Estimated): KWD 1,200 – 1,800 per month
