Key Responsibilities:
Witness protection relay testing and verify wiring configurations
Validate relay settings, protection documentation, and test reports
Perform busbar protection tests (High & Low Impedance) and assess system stability
Conduct transformer stability, overall load straggling, and busbar stability tests
Validate CT/VT primary and secondary injection testing
Record, review, and report testing results in line with industry standards
Support compliance with project safety and quality protocols
Requirements & Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience in protection inspection, testing, and commissioning
Hands-on experience with GIS substations, HV cables, and high-voltage transmission systems
Knowledge of relay testing, busbar and transformer protection schemes
Familiarity with electrical standards and safety regulations
Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Average Market Salary (Estimated): QAR 18,000 – QAR 28,000 per month (based on protection inspector roles in Qatar with mid-level experience)
