Mechanical Fitter
Job Location : Kuwait
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble, install, and align mechanical equipment and machinery
• Perform maintenance and repair of pumps, valves, compressors, and other mechanical systems
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Carry out equipment inspection and troubleshooting
• Ensure proper fitting, alignment, and calibration of machinery
• Follow safety procedures and site regulations at all times
• Assist in shutdown and turnaround activities
• Coordinate with supervisors and other trades for smooth execution of work
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Report any defects or issues to the supervisor
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or relevant field
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter in Oil & Gas
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• K-nowledge of safety standards and procedures
• Physically fit and able to work in site conditions
Preferred:
• Experience in Oil & Gas projects in GCC
• Familiarity with shutdown/maintenance activities
