Job Title: API Integration Specialist – IBM API Connect / DataPower / ACE
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and support enterprise-grade API and integration solutions
Implement and manage API lifecycle processes including design, deployment, security, and monitoring
Develop and configure integration flows using IBM API Connect, IBM DataPower, and IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE)
Ensure seamless integration with core banking and enterprise systems
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and SOAP web services
Ensure compliance with security, governance, and enterprise architecture standards
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across distributed systems
Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders for solution delivery
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Minimum 10+ years of experience in IT software design, development, and support
At least 6+ years of hands-on experience with IBM API Connect (API design & development)
At least 5+ years of experience with IBM DataPower (design & configuration)
At least 5+ years of experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) development
Strong expertise in enterprise API and integration architecture for banking systems
Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, SOAP Web Services, API lifecycle, and security standards
Mandatory certifications in IBM API Connect and IBM App Connect Enterprise (professional level)
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
