Davidson Management Consultants have been mandated to recruit a native Arabic speaking Director of Operations for their client in Abu Dhabi, UAE which is a 100 bed hospital and rehabilitation residential facility providing integrated inpatient, rehabilitation, and long-term care services. We are looking for experienced healthcare operations leaders with a minimum of 15 to 20 years of experience, out of which at least 5 to 8 years must be in a senior operations leadership role within a hospital or rehabilitation setting.Candidates applying for this role must have UAE operations experience within a hospital setting.The Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational management of the hospital and residential rehabilitation services, ensuring efficient service delivery, regulatory compliance, and high-quality patient care across all departments. Lead operations across inpatient units, rehabilitation services, residential programs, support services, and facilities management to ensure seamless patient flow and continuity of care.Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the organization’s vision, ensuring optimal utilization of resources, cost control, and service efficiency. Oversee capacity planning, bed management, admission and discharge processes, and coordination between clinical and non-clinical departments. Ensure operational readiness and adherence to Department of Health (DoH) regulations, accreditation standards, and patient safety frameworks.Work closely with medical leadership, nursing leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to support clinical delivery and resolve operational challenges. Lead workforce planning, staffing models, performance management, and operational training programs. Implement KPIs and performance monitoring systems to drive efficiency, patient satisfaction, and service quality.Oversee vendor management, procurement processes, and service contracts for non-clinical services including facilities, housekeeping, catering, security, and biomedical services. Ensure availability of equipment, supplies, and operational resources required for uninterrupted service delivery.Collaborate with finance teams on budgeting, cost management, procurement controls, and operational financial performance. Participate in strategic planning, service expansion, and program development initiatives. Lead quality improvement programs, audits, and risk management processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and governance standards.Act as a key liaison with internal and external stakeholders including regulatory authorities, partners, and service providers. Maintain a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and patient-centered care across the organization.

Salary : Aed 60,000 per month plus family benefits (Salary mentioned in the advertisement is indicative. The final offer lies at the discretion of the client and will be made after completion of interviews).
