Job Position – Custom Clearance Officer/ Logistics Controller
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Qualifications & Competencies
Prior working experience in Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah is mandatory.
3–4 years experience in logistics/shipping or customs clearance.
Knowledge of import/export procedures and documentation.
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Email).
Good English communication skills; Arabic language is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Handle customs clearance for Free Zone, local, GCC, and export shipments.
Prepare required documents: Bills of Entry, customs invoices, export/import documents.
Coordinate and book shipments (land, sea, air).
Track shipments and resolve delays or border issues.
Ensure compliance with customs regulations and Letter of Credit requirements.
Collect and verify shipping documents (Bill of Lading, Air way bill, Truck consignee note).
Monitor customs duties and arrange deposit refunds.
Maintain accurate records of shipments and documentation.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs, banks, and internal teams.
