Procurement Officer
Job Location : Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day procurement activities, ensuring timely purchasing of materials and services
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers within the UAE market
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost efficiency without compromising quality
• Prepare and process purchase orders while ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Track orders and deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods
• Maintain organized and up-to-date procurement records and documentation
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to optimize procurement strategies
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to support business continuity
Requirements:
• Minimum of 4 years of procurement experience within the UAE (mandatory)
• Strong and active supplier/vendor network within the UAE market
• Valid UAE driving license (mandatory)
• Proven skills in negotiation, supplier management, and cost control
• Strong analytical thinking with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• High attention to detail and ability to manage procurement documentation effectively
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline
• Experience in construction or modular building industry will be an added advantage
