Job Description Requirements:
Proven experience leading Workday data conversion projects (HCM, Financials, or Student).
Expertise in ETL processes, data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
Strong ability to resolve complex data issues and mitigate risks.
Skilled in designing and executing conversion strategies and best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Office Suite.
Excellent client management and communication skills.
Ability to define scope, timelines, and dependencies clearly.
Experience mentoring team members and collaborating cross-functionally.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field.
Willingness to travel and work extended hours during peak cycles.
Preferences:
Current Workday certification (Core HCM, Financials, Advanced Data Conversion).
Overall 7+ years of experience, relevant 5+ years of Workday data conversion experience; 2+ full lifecycle implementations.
Technical skills: SQL, XML/XSLT, Web Services, VBA, ETL.
Advanced Excel (Power Query, macros, complex formulas).
Familiarity with tools like Notepad++, UltraEdit, Oxygen XML, Beyond Compare.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mentoring capabilities.
