Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer (MEP) to design, develop, and review mechanical systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects. The candidate should have strong experience in HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical design coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare mechanical design drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
Design HVAC systems, including chilled water, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Prepare plumbing and firefighting system designs.
Perform heat load calculations and equipment selection.
Prepare BOQ, material submittals, and technical reports.
Coordinate with electrical, civil, and architectural teams.
Review shop drawings and ensure compliance with project requirements.
Ensure designs comply with international standards and local authority regulations.
Provide technical support during project execution and site activities.
Attend client and project coordination meetings.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 3–8 years of experience in MEP mechanical design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, HAP, Revit MEP, or related software.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
Familiarity with ASHRAE, NFPA, and local authority standards.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Experience in high-rise, commercial, or industrial projects preferred.
Preferred Skills
Experience in BIM/Revit coordination.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
