Davidson Management Consultants have been mandated to recruit a western educated, native Arabic speaking Clinical Social Worker for their client in UAE which is a specialized mental health and rehabilitation facility providing comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, and residential services. We are looking for candidates who hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work followed by a Master’s Degree in Social Work and have a minimum of 2 years of full-time clinical work experience gained after completion of the Master’s Degree. The candidate must hold a valid license as a Clinical Social Worker in their current country of employment
The Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients' emotional, social, behavioral, environmental, family, and community-related needs. Assess risk factors including self-harm, abuse, neglect, social isolation, family dysfunction, and other psychosocial challenges that may impact treatment outcomes and recovery.
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and patient-centered care. Provide individual, group, and family interventions aimed at improving coping mechanisms, emotional wellbeing, treatment adherence, and social functioning.
Support patients and their families in understanding diagnoses, treatment plans, recovery goals, and available support services. Provide counseling and guidance to families facing emotional, social, and practical challenges associated with mental health conditions, rehabilitation needs, or chronic illnesses. Act as a liaison between patients, families, healthcare providers, and community agencies to facilitate access to housing support, financial assistance, educational resources, vocational rehabilitation, social services, and community-based programs where appropriate.
Coordinate discharge planning and continuity of care activities, ensuring safe transition from inpatient or residential services to community settings, outpatient programs, or other appropriate levels of care. Arrange follow-up services and support mechanisms to optimize long-term recovery and rehabilitation outcomes.Provide crisis intervention and support during psychiatric, behavioral, family, or social emergencies. Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences, treatment planning meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical reviews. Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements, professional standards, and organizational policies.Ensure compliance with ethical practice standards, healthcare regulations, safeguarding requirements, and clinical governance frameworks while contributing to the organization's commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based, and patient-centered care.
Salary : Aed 28,000 per month plus family benefits (Salary mentioned in the advertisement is indicative. The final offer lies at the discretion of the client and will be made after completion of interviews).
