Urgent Hiring - Mechanical Draftsman (MEP)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Draftsman for MEP projects to prepare detailed mechanical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and other mechanical systems. The ideal candidate should have strong AutoCAD skills and experience coordinating with various MEP disciplines and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed mechanical shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings for MEP projects.
Develop HVAC ducting layouts, chilled water piping, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting system drawings.
Prepare sectional details, installation drawings, and fabrication drawings as required.
Coordinate with Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Architects, Structural Engineers, and site teams.
Review contract drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Update drawings based on site conditions, consultant comments, and engineering revisions.
Participate in MEP coordination meetings and resolve drawing conflicts.
Assist in material take-offs and quantity calculations from drawings.
Maintain drawing registers and document control procedures.
Ensure all drawings comply with local authority regulations, project specifications, and industry standards.
Qualifications
Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MEP drafting software.
Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman in MEP construction projects.
Experience in commercial, residential, high-rise, hospital, hotel, or industrial projects is preferred.
