Urgent Hiring: QA/QC Engineer – MEP Projects

Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified QA/QC Engineer with experience in MEP projects to ensure that all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, firefighting, and ELV works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes. The candidate will be responsible for implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures for MEP works on construction projects.
Review project specifications, approved drawings, method statements, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
Conduct inspections of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, electrical, and ELV installations.
Prepare and submit Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), and quality-related documentation.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project teams regarding quality inspections and approvals.
Ensure all materials and installations comply with approved specifications and quality standards.
Monitor site activities and identify non-conformance issues; prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective actions.
Verify testing and commissioning activities and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
Conduct internal quality audits and site inspections.
Maintain records of inspections, test reports, approvals, and quality documents.
Support project teams in achieving quality objectives and project milestones.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards, local regulations, and project quality requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
QA/QC certifications and training will be an advantage.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer in MEP construction projects.
Experience in high-rise buildings, commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, or industrial projects.
