Job Summary:
Al Qassim Aluminium and Glass is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for quantity take-offs, cost estimation, variation management, subcontractor evaluations, and commercial control of aluminium, glass, and façade projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and project specifications.
Measure and evaluate aluminium, glazing, curtain wall, cladding, and façade works.
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions.
Review contracts, BOQs, and project documentation.
Prepare and manage variations, claims, and payment applications.
Monitor project costs and assist in cost control activities.
Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparison reports.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams.
Maintain accurate records of project quantities and commercial documentation.
Support project closeout and final account preparation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in aluminium, glass, and façade projects.
Strong knowledge of curtain wall, glazing, cladding, doors, and window systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and quantity surveying software.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Preferred:
Experience in façade contracting companies.
Immediate joiners preferred.
