Job Location : Saudi Arabia, Dammam
Primary Responsibilities:
• Clean and sanitize all kitchen utensils, dishes, glassware, and equipment in accordance with hotel hygiene standards.
• Ensure all kitchen and food preparation areas are kept clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation and kitchen duties when required.
• Handle waste disposal and recycling procedures in line with hotel and environmental standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing areas, storage areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Ensure all cleaning chemicals and equipment are used safely and stored properly.
• Report any maintenance issues, unsafe equipment, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries while ensuring proper hygiene and organization.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations at all times.
• Support the kitchen team during busy operations to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain a professional appearance and wear the required uniform and protective equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Kitchen Management.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a stewarding, kitchen, or cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Basic understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support the kitchen and service teams.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods, lift items, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
