GT Enterprises is looking for an experienced Shift Supervisor to lead our Logistics & Transport Operations team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline
• Diploma holders with relevant industry experience may also be considered
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervise and coordinate daily transport, material handling, warehouse, and container movement activities
• Manage HD Drivers, Forklift Operators, and support personnel to ensure uninterrupted operations
• Prepare operational reports, performance summaries, and status updates
• Monitor vehicle and equipment availability and coordinate maintenance activities
• Utilize SAP and company systems for inventory management, operational tracking, and reporting
• Maintain operational records, timesheets, attendance, inspections, and fuel usage logs
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, security policies, and SOP
• Lead incident reporting, investigations, and corrective action follow-ups
• Coordinate with internal departments and ensure effective shift handovers
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational efficiency
REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, transport operations, warehouse management, or material handling within heavy industries (Aluminium, Oil & Gas, Steel, Manufacturing)
• Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Qatar.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role managing drivers, forklift operators, and warehouse personnel in a 24/7 operational environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP (MM Module) or similar ERP systems
