1. Manage the Company Investments through the entire deal lifecycle and drive the development of a pipeline of viable profitable investments through various channels
2. Conduct the Financial Statement Analysis for judging the liquidity, solvency, and credibility for Real Estate and other segmented investments
3. Conduct industry & market trend analysis and general creditworthiness of client analysis
4. Ensure Risk and Return Analysis and Management, Portfolio and strategic Planning, structuring risk mitigation mechanisms, focusing on optimization of various types of risk such as credit/default risk, interest rate risk, etc.
5. Lead the development of MOUs, Letter of Intent and other pre-contract documentation requirements
6. Negotiate Strategic Investments deal structures and transactions on behalf of IH within approved guidelines by the investment committee
7. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures for all Strategic Investments activities at IH
8. Monitor and guide the Strategic Investments team in the development of various investment proposals to be presented to the top management for approval
9. Ensure proper closure of Strategic investment deals including contracts, side letters, agreements, etc.
10. Ensure Investment House complies with all Qatar Central Bank
11. Prepare detailed analysis and business cases and present them to the top management for approval
12. Act as a Strategic Investments expert and provide expert advice and guidance to the top management in all investment decisions
13. Lead and direct other staff
14. Coach and train direct subordinate to develop their skills
15. Monitor day-to-day management of staff, such as work allocation
16. Prepare annual formal performance appraisal for all direct subordinates
17. Establish performance measures, annual and long-term goals for all direct subordinates and review each individual’s performance periodically
18. Ensures the investments funds complies with the investment’s Code, QCB’s policy, and international laws and regulations, Supervises the Private Equity portfolios and investment analysts and works closely with external fund managers.
19. Performs the full range of supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:-
BSc. degree in business or in business administration or any equivalent degree
Master’s degree in development, public administration, business administration or other relevant social sciences
Preferred in addition to the above: MBA or CA, CMA with operational experience
