A leading organic farming operation is looking for an experienced Animal Production Specialist to support livestock productivity, herd health, and sustainable farm management.

🔍 Key Responsibilities:
▪️ Maintain and monitor herd records, including health, breeding, production, and performance
▪️ Develop and oversee feeding programs based on animal production stages
▪️ Track key performance indicators such as growth rates, milk production, and body condition scores
▪️ Coordinate with veterinarians on herd health, disease prevention, and treatment plans
▪️ Analyze production data and prepare operational reports
▪️ Manage inventory, procurement, and farm records using ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
▪️ Ensure compliance with organic farming standards, biosecurity protocols, and animal welfare regulations
▪️ Supervise and support farm workers to maintain efficient daily operations
🎯 Requirements:
▪️ Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Production, Animal Science, Agriculture, or a related field
▪️ 3–5 years of experience in livestock production (Goat Farming experience preferred)
▪️ Strong knowledge of herd management, animal nutrition, and organic farming standards
▪️ Experience using ERP systems (Oracle is an advantage)
▪️ Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
