Local Procurement & Sourcing Specialist
Job Location : Kuwait
Key Responsibilities:
• Source and develop new local suppliers across Kuwait.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and supplier agreements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and wholesalers.
• Source products across Food, FMCG, HORECA, Packaging, Cleaning & Hygiene, Coffee Equipment, Machinery, and other business categories.
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations to achieve the best commercial value.
• Work closely with Sales, Operations, Warehouse, and Cash Van teams to ensure product availability.
• Continuously identify new products and market opportunities.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and product quality.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Kuwait supplier market.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience in FMCG, Food Distribution, HORECA, or Wholesale is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple suppliers and product categories.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP experience is an advantage.
• Valid Kuwait driving licence is preferred.
