The HR Manager is responsible for leading and managing all human resource functions across food manufacturing facility and restaurant operations in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies for manufacturing, production, logistics, and restaurant operations.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment including sourcing, interviewing, selection, onboarding, and induction.
• Coordinate with department heads to forecast manpower requirements.
• Build talent pipelines for critical operational and leadership positions.
Employee Relations & Engagement
• Address employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace conflicts.
• Implement improvement initiatives.
• Promote company values, diversity, and inclusion practices.
HR Operations & Administration
• Oversee employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files.
• Manage employment contracts, probation reviews, confirmations, transfers, and terminations.
• Ensure accurate HR data management and reporting.
• Maintain HR policies and procedures aligned with company objectives.
UAE Labor Law Compliance
• Ensure compliance with UAE labour regulations, employment laws, and government requirements.
• Monitor visa, work permit, and residency processes in coordination with PRO and government relations teams.
• Handle labour inspections, audits, and compliance documentation.
• Keep management informed about legislative updates affecting workforce management.
Performance Management
• Design and implement performance appraisal systems.
• Support managers in setting KPIs and performance objectives.
• Monitor employee performance and development plans.
• Drive succession planning and talent management initiatives.
Training & Development
• Identify training needs across manufacturing and restaurant operations.
• Develop and implement learning and development programs.
• Organize food safety, hygiene, customer service, leadership, and compliance training.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and ROI.
HR Reporting & Analytics
• Prepare monthly HR reports
• Provide strategic HR recommendations based on workforce analytics.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master's Degree or HR certification is preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of HR experience in leading roles in UAE.
• Food industry experience in UAE is preferred.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of UAE Labor Law.
• Hands-on experience in UAE HR best practices
