JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a technically strong Project Manager with hands-on experience in the audio visual and lighting industry to join our event production team. The ideal candidate will manage projects from initial planning through execution, ensuring equipment, crew, and client requirements are delivered on time and to a high standard.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage AV and lighting rental projects from initial client meeting through event completion.
• Plan equipment, crew, logistics, and installation/production schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal technical teams.
• Review technical requirements and ensure appropriate AV and lighting solutions are provided.
• Oversee onsite setup, event execution, and dismantling when required.
• Monitor project timelines, and resource allocation.
• Ensure all work complies with company safety standards and industry best practices.
• Resolve technical and operational issues efficiently during project delivery.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Technical Coordinator in the audio visual, lighting, or live events industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of professional audio-visual systems, lighting equipment, staging, and event production workflows.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and equipment lists.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience working in the live event production and corporate events field.
• Knowledge of networking, video distribution, and lighting control systems.
• Relevant technical certifications or qualifications in audio visual, lighting, or event production.
