HSE Officer / Safety Officer (Oil & Gas)

Job Location : Kuwait

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and enforce all HSE policies and procedures at site
• Conduct daily site inspections, safety audits, and hazard identification
• Ensure compliance with permit-to-work system and risk assessment requirements
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training for workers
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and prepare detailed reports with root cause analysis
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices across all activities
• Coordinate with project, construction, and site teams to resolve safety issues
• Maintain HSE documentation, records, and daily safety reports
• Ensure compliance with client and regulatory authority safety requirements
• Support emergency preparedness and response procedures at site

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
• NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory preferred) or equivalent HSE qualification
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Oil & Gas HSE/Safety roles
• Strong knowledge of industrial safety standards and procedures
• Experience in construction, maintenance, or pipeline projects preferred
• Good communication and reporting skills in English
• Ability to work in high-risk field environments and manage safety under pressure
