Job Responsibilities:
1. Achieve the company's sales targets, gross profit (GP) targets, and new customer development targets.
2. Develop new customers and expand the company's air freight business within the UAE.
3. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide suitable air freight solutions based on cargo details, transit time, destination, and service requirements.
4. Prepare quotations, negotiate with customers, follow up business opportunities, secure new business, and maintain long-term customer relationships.
5. Maintain regular contact with existing customers, understand their shipping plans and logistics needs, and identify further business opportunities.
6. Follow up customer payment status and outstanding invoices, and work with the Finance team to ensure timely collection.
7. Work closely with Customer Service, Operations, Customs Clearance, Warehousing, Transportation, and Finance teams to ensure smooth shipment execution and timely resolution of operational issues.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the UAE freight forwarding industry, with air freight sales experience.
2. Good knowledge of the UAE air freight market, major airline products, freight
rate structure, and freight forwarding operations.
3. Able to independently develop customers, conduct negotiations, and close business, with an established local customer base in the UAE.
4. Familiar with customs clearance, local transportation, and related logistics services, with the ability to provide integrated logistics solutions.
5. Stable, responsible, and able to work independently on business development.
