Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor – MEP Projects

Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily mechanical installation activities on construction sites.
Coordinate and monitor the installation of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, chilled water, drainage, and ventilation systems.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and project documents.
Plan, assign, and supervise the work of mechanical technicians and skilled tradesmen.
Ensure mechanical works are completed according to project schedules and quality standards.
Coordinate with electrical, civil, and architectural teams to avoid work conflicts.
Monitor manpower productivity and optimize resource utilization.
Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards.
Coordinate material requirements and ensure the availability of tools and equipment.
Support testing, commissioning, and system handover activities.
Identify and resolve technical issues encountered during installation.
Maintain daily progress reports and submit updates to project management.
Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on site.
Attend coordination meetings with consultants, subcontractors, and clients when required.
Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Supervisor in MEP construction projects.
Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or high-rise building projects is preferred.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical building services.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with international mechanical codes, standards, and HSE requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
