ASTRA is currently hiring experienced professionals for our ongoing ADNOC Projects in the UAE. If you have ADNOC projects experience and a strong background in Oil & Gas EPC projects and are looking for an exciting opportunity, we would like to hear from you.
HSE Lead – ADNOC Project (UAE)
An HSE Lead is responsible for leading all Health, Safety, and Environmental activities to ensure the project complies with ADNOC HSE requirements, UAE regulations, and international standards.
Typical responsibilities:
Develop and implement the Project HSE Management Plan.
Ensure compliance with ADNOC HSE standards, Permit to Work (PTW), and UAE regulations.
Lead HSE risk assessments such as HAZID, HAZOP, JSA/JHA, TRA, and SIMOPS.
Conduct site inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
Monitor HSE KPIs and prepare reports for management and the client.
Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns.
Coordinate emergency response planning and drills.
Manage contractor HSE performance and ensure corrective actions are closed.
Typical qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Occupational Health & Safety.
NEBOSH IGC or NEBOSH Diploma.
ISO 45001 Lead Auditor (preferred).
ISO 14001 Lead Auditor (preferred).
10–15+ years of HSE experience in oil & gas, with ADNOC project experience often preferred or required.
Strong knowledge of ADNOC Codes of Practice, PTW, HSEMS, incident investigation, and risk management
